Scientist On Climate Change

Climatic change has become a major concern and the only ones who can analyze and try to come up with a working solution are the scientists. The challenges that face the scientific community are of humongous proportions. They have to consider the current climate inconsistency as well as long term climatic changes and factors involved.

The key player in climatic conditions is the currents in the ocean. The ocean is so large and the currents varied that whatever they do have a significant impact. So, if scientists can learn how the ocean works, they can devise ways to reduce global warming. However, pollution and harmful greenhouse gases hinder the work of the oceans and therefore, we experience changes in climate. The ocean life absorbs nearly one fourth of manmade carbon emissions. But we have to do our bit and stop poisoning the atmosphere with carbon dioxide.

Scientists have recently found out that the inland water bodies are also dynamic players. They take the carbon dioxide, and bury it in sediments or the water life uses and metabolizes it. When estimated, it is a staggering 20 percent of carbon dioxide that the inland water bodies seize from the atmosphere.

Man has to contribute positively by adhering to the Kyoto Protocol, and try to take bicycle or public transport to work rather than his car. Car pooling will also help cut down on pollutants.  Burning of coal and oil has a negative impact on our world.

It is time to take action and all eyes are on the scientists, who have devoted their lives to save mankind and its habitat.

What-Are-The-Effects-Of-Climate-Change      Industrialization has made wonderful changes in our lives, but it has also brought with it several negative changes as well. The smoke and gases released by the burning of oil and coal in factories and homes, and vehicle emission are slowly increasing our global temperature. Carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are warming up the global temperature. More..
