The life on this planet largely depends upon the cycle of seasons. Every major civilization in this world is dependent on farming activities for sustenance. However, farming requires large quantities of water for irrigation. In many developing and under developed countries, this need of water is fulfilled by seasonal rains. But, if the cycle of seasons gets disturbed, it is likely to lead to droughts. It may also lead to floods in many parts of the world. People living in these parts of the globe would be the first to suffer the consequences.

For every country to survive and flourish, food security is a must. However, in an atmosphere of climatic uncertainty, countries which are less developed or do not have sufficient resources to protect farmlands from decaying due to shortage of or erratic rainfalls are very likely to perish.

Unlike the previous generations where every country had to fend for itself, the current world order has economies tied to each other. If one country gets affected, it is likely to severely affect the other. Such a scenario would lead to global slowdown and economic crisis which would eventually engulf the entire planet. There is not much time left to save our planet. Unless the governments of this world unite to address the issue of climate change and global warming, nothing can be achieved.

Also, the adverse effects of climatic change will not be restricted just to mankind. Even animals, domesticated and wild, will be affected. One after another, different species would die as the food chain would get disrupted.

If this is not unraveling of creation due to climatic change, then what is it?
